Ferdinand Chificeac started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Purcaresti CSS's zone, Luisinho Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alin Holban came out of the goal and Luisinho Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Luisinho Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GeRaÇãO-83's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, GeRaÇãO-83's Bruninho Leite got control of the ball when Doru Schiau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luisinho Goiano took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alin Holban. Alin Holban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. GeRaÇãO-83's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Ferdinand Chificeac scored to the left of an out of position Bruninho Leite, making the score, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Luisinho Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Alin Holban. Purcaresti CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 60th minute, Tales Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Bruninho Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Cucerzan in the 82nd minute of the match. Tales Valladaress short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Alin Holban to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bruninho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Jdeica in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Goiano in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alin Holban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96thth minute of the game Luisinho Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purcaresti CSS's Alin Holban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Purcaresti CSS lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
