Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonçalo Catarinense kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wellington Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Altino Paião. 4 minutes into the game, Fausto Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joinville Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube Patrício the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Eliseu Mourinho fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube Patrício's protests and gave Eliseu Mourinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Mourinho. 23 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Mourinho came free, but Wellington Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Eliseu Mourinho took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Wellington Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. Caio Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Mourinho in the 41st minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wellington Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Wellington Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermenegildo Ribeiro in the 52nd minute of the match. If Alexandrino Quintas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Carmona was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gonçalo Catarinense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. Nelson Eger hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Wellington Montenegro came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube Patrício's Eliseu Mourinho. But to his dismay, Eliseu Mourinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 65th minute, Deivid Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wellington Montenegro came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube Patrício's Miguel Santiago. But to his dismay, Miguel Santiago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Sporting Clube Patrício's Aristides Soveral suffered a sore thigh after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gonçalo Catarinense hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Renatinho Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Hermenegildo Ribeiro hit a great ball. When Eliseu Mourinho came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sporting Clube Patrício fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Mourinho couldn't finish the play. Caio Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Hermenegildo Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans cheered their team off the field, for while Joinville Esporte Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
