After a rather tough play, AlmaToran's Che Herro got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 10th minute, Saul Bryson made a precise shot to the right of Urko Baezabal. AlmaToran's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 15thth minute of the game Julian Dillard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AlmaToran's Urko Baezabal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, AlmaToran's Leon Fauria got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Julian Dillard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urko Baezabal. AlmaToran's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Dillard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Marcelo Ascencio's late challenge caught a AlmaToran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Ascencio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AlmaToran booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Dillards short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Urko Baezabal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Urko Baezabal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Dillard in the 32nd minute of the match. Urko Baezabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Dillard in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Gregg Hannah got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, AlmaToran's Urko Baezabal got control of the ball when Rodney Urbina tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mel Tompkins to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Gregg Hannah. Urko Baezabal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Dillard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Saul Bryson made a precise shot to the right of Urko Baezabal. AlmaToran's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Gregg Hannah was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. In the 77th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregg Hannah to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, AlmaToran's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Urbina came free, but Urko Baezabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urko Baezabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Dillard, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. C. A. Independiente's Wyatt Fowler got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AlmaToran's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because C. A. Independiente had won, even though AlmaToran had held more of the ball.
