FC Hackspett U21's Olov Rosendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Txeru in the 19th minute of play. Felipe Acevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludwig Olenberg went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Biörnberg in the 25th minute of play forced Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Felipe Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Jan-Åke Bokelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Åke Bokelund kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Felipe Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Högman, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hackspett U21's zone, Anacleto Costante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Rosendal came out of the goal and Anacleto Costante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Högman in the 41st minute of play. The Chelsea Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Hackspett U21 were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludwig Olenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ivan Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Txeru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Rosendal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the game, Ted Högman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Acevedo. Ted Högman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Football Club's Bartolo Chesus got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Douglas Björkman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Acevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Chesus charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Chesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Hackspett U21 booed when Chelsea Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Chesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Björkman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Högman came free, but Felipe Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Chelsea Football Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Hackspett U21's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Hackspett U21.
