Lars Colin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo Nogueira got free with Lars Colin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that João Carlos Mattos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Colin was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute New Loser FC were awarded a corner. Luís Paulo Nogueira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luís Paulo Nogueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ralles Bollklubb's Lars Colin did a great save. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when Ralles Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Löfskog didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Valdemar Lindberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ralles Bollklubb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Orvar Kilstedt lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Orvar Kilstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Luís Paulo Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gildo Corrêa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Lars Colin made a huge save. Lars Colin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Nogueira in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Olof Wallman during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Per-Olof Wallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Ralles Bollklubb were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Hamnberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gunnar Hamnberg fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ralles Bollklubb's protests and gave Gunnar Hamnberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Ralles Bollklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. Lars Colin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Corrêa in the 91st minute of play forced Ralles Bollklubb's goalkeeper Lars Colin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Loser FC had played much better football throughout.
