Tirant lo Blanch's Luis-Antonio Jurado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Catarinense in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altzibar Silvestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Velloso having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Cosme. Txema Mudarra kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Juan Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aniceto Canal in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Sánchez made a kick off. Oranil's Hílton Cosme pulled a muscle in his back after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Oranil booed when Tirant lo Blanch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altzibar Silvestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis-Antonio Jurado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Txema Mudarra got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aniceto Canal in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Oranil booed when Tirant lo Blanch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Giner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Asier Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Fernando Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Jacinto Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Txema Mudarra kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Oranil were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tirant lo Blanch to leave the ground with a draw.
