Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) spikarna's Jonas Nordström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgar Gama's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Enström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by spikarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rogério Macena was slow to take the kick. During this time Tasso FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 9th minute Jonas Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Rogério Macena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Samuel Enström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's Edgar Gama sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Enström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tasso FC's André Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Nordström in the 17th minute of play. Tommy Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Tasso FC's Rogério Macena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Enström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tasso FC reached it. Severino Taveira hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. André Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Löfskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jarl Löfskog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. André Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Börje Sjöberg. But to his dismay, Börje Sjöberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jarl Löfskog charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarl Löfskog the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jarl Löfskog hit a great ball. When Marco Palhares fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasso FC's protests and gave Marco Palhares a yellow card for diving instead. Bernt Martinsson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogério Macena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Löfskog. André Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Andreasson in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goalkeeper André Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Nordström. In the 62nd minute of the match, Jonas Nordström got a very nice opportunity to score, but André Ribeiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 64th minute of the match spikarna got a corner. Tasso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernt Martinsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. André Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Löfskog in the 65th minute of play. André Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Jarl Löfskog. But to his dismay, Jarl Löfskog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jonas Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Ribeiro having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, António Casado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tasso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave spikarna the free kick. In the 75th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Löfskog to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Gois hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of spikarna booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Cesário didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, spikarna's Jonas Nordström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gunnar Bäcklin hit a great ball. Gunnar Bäcklin made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Börje Sjöberg. In the 95th minute, Rogério Macena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. spikarna played a much better game than Tasso FC and deserved their victory. The Tasso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
