Excelência de Luxe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frédson Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leal Roig made a kick off. Frédson Seco took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Palomar. Ciudad de Soria defense, Luan Oliveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Palomar. The C.D. Ciudad de Soria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Palomar should have stopped the shot.
