Spectators: 163 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) In the 9thth minute of the game Monico Intriago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Locura Académica's Gerardo Rufo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Nemesio Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monico Intriago in the 12th minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Gerardo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Monico Intriago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Celedonio Mundo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monico Intriago in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Rufo saved Locura Académica from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Monico Intriago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Rufo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's goal looked a bit too open when Foro Constante came free, but Gerardo Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monico Intriago in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Rufo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monico Intriago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Rufo having to make a save. Locura Académica's Gerardo Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monico Intriago in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Foro Constante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monico Intriago to make the kick off. When Club Olimpia's Monico Intriago in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Locura Académica's goalie prevented a goal. Monico Intriago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Locura Académica's Gerardo Rufo got control of the ball when Monico Intriago tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nemesio Frasquito fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Locura Académica's protests and gave Nemesio Frasquito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Nemesio Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Olimpia's Lope Rugama shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gerardo Rufo but with some difficulty. Gerardo Rufo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monico Intriago in the 74th minute. During the 75th minute of the match Nemesio Frasquito completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nemesio Frasquito a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nemesio Frasquito hit a great ball. Club Olimpia's Monico Intriago got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Locura Académica's zone, Monico Intriago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Rufo came out of the goal and Monico Intriago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Monico Intriago sped through Locura Académica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerardo Rufo. Humberto Tabares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidro Lascano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Rufo having to interfere. Gerardo Rufo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Olimpia's Foro Constante. But to his dismay, Foro Constante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Aquiles Saavedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Rufo having to interfere. The Locura Académica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Olimpia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
