An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamit Ülger in the 5th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Andre Quessy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andre Quessy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamit Ülger's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Andre Quessy made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Hamit Ülger sent off a good shot on target. Orhan Yonal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alxavier Brütsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of 68Aksarayspor booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alxavier Brütsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andre Quessy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamit Ülger's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the 68Aksarayspor defense, Alxavier Brütsch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orhan Yonal. The 68Aksarayspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orhan Yonal should have stopped the shot. After 23 minutes, Linus Egemann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fire Devils and the 68Aksarayspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Linus Egemann kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Egemann to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, 68Aksarayspor's Andre Quessy threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hamit Ülger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd minute Alxavier Brütsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orhan Yonal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orhan Yonal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alxavier Brütsch in the 33rd minute of the match. Hamit Ülger might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andre Quessy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamit Ülger ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Roman Bergmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes 68Aksarayspor got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Bumin Orun. Hamit Ülger scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andre Quessy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hamit Ülger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alxavier Brütsch to make the kick off. A collision led to 68Aksarayspor getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Atilla Bumin Orun hit a great ball. Pawel Bouchard struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Orhan Yonal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. After 54 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Dean Heinzmann. In the 60th minute, Hamit Ülger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Linus Egemann was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 61st match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Egemann to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Dave Drescher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 68Aksarayspor's zone, Tibor Waldburger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orhan Yonal came out of the goal and Tibor Waldburger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave Drescher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Pawel Bouchard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamit Ülger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Alxavier Brütsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alxavier Brütsch to maneuver through the defense. Hamit Ülger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Andre Quessy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawel Bouchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhan Yonal having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dave Drescher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fire Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Drescher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orhan Yonal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
