In the 10th minute, Mikolaj Degutis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bambang Bamba might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Gizzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bambang Bamba ran back to his position shaking his head. Antonio Gizzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bambang Bamba in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Spurs To Glory's Bambang Bamba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Gizzi. Antonio Gizzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Edoardo Flocco's late challenge caught a Spurs To Glory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edoardo Flocco helped the player get up and apologised. Edoardo Flocco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bambang Bamba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Gizzi was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Bambang Bamba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Antonio Gizzi made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Bambang Bamba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonio Gizzi. That made the score 5-1 in the 41 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Anfilogino Maietta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calenzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Anfilogino Maietta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
