The referee ignored Capivariano F.C.'s protests and gave Juvenal Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Capivariano F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Barreto. Szczakowianka's Tomasz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Moreno in the 37th minute of play. Tales Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Puszynski in the 41st minute of the match. Tomasz Rutkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Machado in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
