After 17 played minutes ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Tande. Kent Classon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Kent Classon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Rui Aparecido. Rui Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarbas Cardozo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarbas Cardozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 28 minutes, Kent Classon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jofurs Drängar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Classon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Jofurs Drängar's Åke Askestät got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rui Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Arne Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kennet Majman made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Carlos Alberto Germano sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Alberto Germano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kennet Majman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Brodel to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Kent Classon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carlos Alberto Germano came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alberto Germano couldn't finish the play. After 55 minutes, Rafael Brodel made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jofurs Drängar's Kennet Majman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Brodel in the 58th minute of play forced Jofurs Drängar's goalkeeper Kennet Majman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Jofurs Drängar's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Brodel came free, but Kennet Majman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cafu Mazza hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Jofurs Drängar got a freekick which was hit by Åke Askestät. 79 minutes into the match, Jofurs Drängar's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Brodel came free, but Kennet Majman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Jofurs Drängar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Fors to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rafael Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kennet Majman was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Alfredinho Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kennet Majman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Rui Aparecido managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Jofurs Drängar's Kent Classon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 90th minute, Örjan Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Alberto Germano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match Jarbas Cardozo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kennet Majman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Jofurs Drängar players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
