Tolek Wojtkowski hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Moneteria's Zachariasz Robak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Jellingdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olaf Chmielecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Jellingdal having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Esbjerg fB got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Lunnet. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beniamin Mentus to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Moneteria's Olaf Chmielecki got a free kick in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beniamin Mentus in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Jellingdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Esbjerg fB booed when Moneteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Robak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Esbjerg fB's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Mentus came free, but Sven Jellingdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Chmielecki couldn't finish the play. Sven Jellingdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beniamin Mentus's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Esbjerg fB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folmar Alevig to maneuver through the defense. Beniamin Mentus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sven Jellingdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Beniamin Mentus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sven Jellingdal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Beniamin Mentus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Jellingdal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Moneteria fully deserved thier win.
