In the 7th minute Abel Santillion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Skarkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pelle Wallin's late challenge caught a Lealtad Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pelle Wallin helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Luciano in the 12th minute of play forced Pil SK's goalkeeper Orvar Skarkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Lealtad Futbol Club's Vera Ludeña made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Skarkman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orvar Skarkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Santillion, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Lealtad Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Abel Santillion went to the cornerflag to take it. Lealtad Futbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abel Santillion in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Hydén during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lealtad Futbol Club booed when Pil SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Hydén didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Pil SK's Simon Dalgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Lombana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 46th minute, Carl Lindström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orvar Skarkman came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Lealtad Futbol Club's Facundo Luciano. But to his dismay, Facundo Luciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Dalgren made a kick off. Marcus Joensson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Joensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pil SK's Marcus Joensson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Lealtad Futbol Club's Abel Santillion broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bertil Hydén got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bertil Hydén kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pil SK's Alvar Kihlberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. Orvar Skarkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Luciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vera Ludeña got free with Orvar Skarkman in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orvar Skarkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Luciano in the 79th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Olle Kleen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pil SK and the Lealtad Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pil SK's Olle Kleen got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 92 played minutes Pil SK got a freekick which was hit by Carl Lindström. Orvar Skarkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Luciano in the 94th minute of play.
