Csabagyöngye's players were relieved. 20 minutes into the match, Jan Mitáš had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Péter Tisza. Csabagyöngye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Mitáš was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Csabagyöngye's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Mitáš came free, but Péter Tisza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Csabagyöngye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Vas to maneuver through the defense. Péter Tisza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Mitáš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Plichta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Péter Tisza made a huge save. Jiří Baláž hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Kálmán Udvarhelyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michal Krajča didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Tóth went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Michal Krajča showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsigmond Toldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Endre Vas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Csabagyöngye made a substitution. Mátyás Kiprich replaced Zsigmond Toldi.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavel Plichta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Csabagyöngye booed when Golden Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Tvrdík didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Endre Vas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michal Krajča was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Endre Vas fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Csabagyöngye's protests and gave Endre Vas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Endre Vas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Golden Tigers's Pavel Plichta tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Pavel Plichta notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Csabagyöngye's Péter Tisza. Péter Tisza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kristóf Szőllőssy's late challenge caught a Golden Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michal Krajča showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Tóth, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Michal Krajča made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mátyás Kiprich in the 83rd minute. Endre Vas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michal Krajča came out and tried to block the shot, but Endre Vas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 89th minute.
