Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavel Plichta to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Plichta. When Martin Hrnčiřík fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Tigers's protests and gave Martin Hrnčiřík a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Hrnčiřík hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Michal Krajča made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oileus Antonopoulos in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Plichta in the 65th minute of play forced FC NATIONAL's goalkeeper Alexandros Petridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiří Baláž during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Orthros Lalagos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michal Krajča. That made the score 0-3 in the 90 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded FC NATIONAL left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Golden Tigers.
