The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Amado Totakoxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Vanden Berghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute Sebbe Meeuwissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Tagliamonte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Belfegor FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Pacho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebbe Meeuwissen in the 9th minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Matias Tagliamonte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Twierdza Osowiec's Sebbe Meeuwissen in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Matias Tagliamonte made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Sebbe Meeuwissen sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Sebbe Meeuwissen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matias Tagliamonte, 2-0. 36 minutes into the game, Twierdza Osowiec's Cedric Boede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Tagliamonte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 41st minute Evert-Jan Steckens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Tagliamonte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Matias Tagliamonte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toon Van den Dries, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Tagliamonte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebbe Meeuwissen in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute Sebbe Meeuwissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Tagliamonte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Cedric Boede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Tagliamonte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Toon Van den Dries left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Twierdza Osowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Belfegor FC's Abel Iturri was substituted for Amado Totakoxe. 74 minutes into the match, Belfegor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geordy Maerschalcx came free, but Matias Tagliamonte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebbe Meeuwissen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Tagliamonte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Belfegor FC defense, Sebbe Meeuwissen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Tagliamonte. The Belfegor FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Tagliamonte should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebbe Meeuwissen in the 86th minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Matias Tagliamonte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Iturri's late challenge caught a Twierdza Osowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Iturri helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Twierdza Osowiec booed when Belfegor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebbe Meeuwissen in the 88th minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Matias Tagliamonte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Belfegor FC's Abel Iturri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Twierdza Osowiec's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
