Gabriel Babiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Didi de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hogwarts's Gabriel Babiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Villota Oria in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Guilherme Loureiro saved Marília AC from getting behind. Abel de Almeida's late challenge caught a Hogwarts's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Abel de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Didi de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marília AC and the Hogwarts players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Marília AC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Didi de Almeida hit a great ball. The supporters of Hogwarts booed when Marília AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marília AC's Luiz Guilherme Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villota Oria in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Marília AC's goal looked a bit too open when Villota Oria came free, but Luiz Guilherme Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Zarando Zubizarrieta in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Marília AC's Magno Reis. After a rather tough play, Marília AC's Pedro Luiz Freitas got a free kick in the 40th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Didi de Almeida to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Villota Oria in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Guilherme Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villota Oria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hogwarts's Zarando Zubizarrieta got a free kick in the 64th minute. Marília AC's Luiz Guilherme Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villota Oria in the 71st minute of play. Hogwarts's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Didi de Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Babiano, making the score, 0-1. In the 79thth minute of the game Villota Oria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marília AC's Luiz Guilherme Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Marília AC's Didi de Almeida got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Zarando Zubizarrieta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Marília AC's Abel de Almeida quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 88thth minute of the game Villota Oria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marília AC's Luiz Guilherme Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Villota Oria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
