After 7 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Soares. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Meira in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Samuca Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Toninho Moura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toninho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Zonta in the 29th minute of the match. Cauã Barreto hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the game, André Galvão landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Ortiz during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dr Lecter SC's Tarcisio Mendonça was substituted for André Galvão. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wambalamba FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Dave Lombardo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Lombardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Lombardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Antônio Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Soares.

The wind increased when Cauã Barreto made the kick off in the second half. Toninho Moura made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Dave Lombardo sent off a good shot on target. Cauã Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. César Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antônio Meira got free with Toninho Moura in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Meira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Toninho Moura 76 minutes into the match. Wambalamba FC's Toninho Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. Toninho Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Lombardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wambalamba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Dave Lombardo scored to the left of an out of position Toninho Moura, making the score, 0-5.
