But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rabah Morceli couldn't finish the play. Carlos Fernando Moraes hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Mustapha Diafat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARON FC's Waldir dos Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Hamid Semghoun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir dos Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mustapha Diafat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir dos Santos was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 9 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Velloso. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Rabah Morceli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chop Chop F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rabah Morceli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustapha Diafat succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. ARON FC's Waldir dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Morceli in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Rabah Morceli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Waldir dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Chop Chop F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Chop Chop F.C.'s Mustapha Diafat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Waldir dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustapha Diafat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edson Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krim Madouni having to interfere. ARON FC's Waldir dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Merbah in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, ARON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mustapha Diafat came free, but Waldir dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustapha Diafat's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Rabah Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Waldir dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Mustapha Diafat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustapha Diafat's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Rabah Morceli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldir dos Santos having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edson Recife was the one to do the kick off. Chop Chop F.C.'s Krim Madouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Velloso in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Chaib in the 53rd minute of play forced ARON FC's goalkeeper Waldir dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustapha Diafat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelhamid el Ibrahimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Chaib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir dos Santos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustapha Diafat in the 60th minute of play forced ARON FC's goalkeeper Waldir dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Chop Chop F.C.'s Mustapha Diafat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldir dos Santos. Waldir dos Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 67 minutes into the match, Mohamed Chaib had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir dos Santos. ARON FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Chaib was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Mustapha Diafat had several of the ARON FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Waldir dos Santos as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 77 minutes, Mustapha Diafat made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. ARON FC's Waldir dos Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Chop Chop F.C.'s Mustapha Diafat in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ARON FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute Mustapha Diafat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Merbah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldir dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mustapha Diafat sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in ARON FC's zone, Mohamed Chaib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir dos Santos came out of the goal and Mohamed Chaib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldir dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustapha Diafat in the 98th minute of play. Chop Chop F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
