Adilson Palmeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natalio Cachurro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Manuel Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Natalio Cachurro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lupere FC booed when Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodore Igarza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Alvaro Bueras in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lupere FC's Juarês Bastos. Manuel Valle struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Txomin Rujido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupere FC. After some careless play in the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV defense, Renan Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Txomin Rujido. The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Txomin Rujido should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Manuel Olivera to make the kick off. Adilson Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Cachurro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Renan Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Lupere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Quirino couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Txomin Rujido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Peñarol FIFV from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Juan Manuel Olivera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adilson Palmeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Renan Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Txomin Rujido made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC's Manuel Valle got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, Lupere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Valle to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Manuel Olivera during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lupere FC booed when Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Manuel Olivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
