Laureano Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Rujido having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabián Estoyanoff to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Leonardo Campos hit a great ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dimas Camargo was slow to take the kick. During this time MEXACOMX's players had a chance to rest. If Delfim Gusmão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimas Camargo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimas Camargo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimas Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Cachurro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Natalio Cachurro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabián Estoyanoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Txomin Rujido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Gusmão in the 54th minute of the match. Txomin Rujido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Melo in the 72nd minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Alexandrino Junqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MEXACOMX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Peñarol FIFV the free kick. Alexandrino Junqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Fabián Estoyanoff fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 81st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Theodore Igarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Leite having to interfere. Delfim Gusmão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
