Domingos Oihan scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikola Cervera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Mark Solano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikola Cervera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Phelipe in the 13th minute of play. Raimundo Quexal made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Constancio Brufau sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Los Golosos's zone, Severo Duro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Quexal came out of the goal and Severo Duro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Los Golosos booed when POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Valcazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Golosos's Raimundo Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Payon in the 21st minute of play. Nikola Cervera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Quexal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Payon went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Victor Romildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nikola Cervera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Payon got free with Raimundo Quexal in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Phelipe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Constancio Brufau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Raimundo Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Payon came free, but Raimundo Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Quexal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constancio Brufau in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Constancio Brufau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Quexal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovando Moya hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Admon Cartagena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimundo Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Duro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of Los Golosos booed when POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauaxeta Lambaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Montrell hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Duro came free, but Raimundo Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauaxeta Lambaria couldn't finish the play.
