Saturnino Tohias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Orue in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Asesinos Por Naturaleza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Sidro to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes, Isidro Sasoin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. El Pinar's Gian-Carlo Caselles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Isidro Sasoin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gian-Carlo Caselles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 20 minutes into the game, Zacarias Ralondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pinar the free kick. Rosario Encalada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saturnino Tohias came out and tried to block the shot, but Rosario Encalada slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute, Ramon Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Saturnino Tohias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Orue in the 33rd minute of play. Saturnino Tohias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Orue in the 34th minute of play. Zarando Dolmos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Orue to maneuver through the defense. If Isidro Sasoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Gian-Carlo Caselles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Nalo in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Zarando Dolmos hit a great ball. Guillermo Nalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gian-Carlo Caselles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Nalo ran back to his position shaking his head. The Asesinos Por Naturaleza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Asesinos Por Naturaleza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
