Scipio Canclini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim do Valle having to make a save. E.C.Pelotas's Douglas de Lima couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for B68 Toftir. 25 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Kevin Trapp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Chaves. After having played for 26 minutes, Victor Boniface managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B68 Toftir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Boniface was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlinhos Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Kevin Trapp made a huge save. Joaquim do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scipio Canclini in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, B68 Toftir's Victor Boniface nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquim do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 37th minute, Fabricius Meuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Victor Boniface managed to get in a good position for a shot. B68 Toftir's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Boniface was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half B68 Toftir were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlinhos Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Victor Boniface reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquim do Valle. The goal made the score 0-2. Scipio Canclini was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. B68 Toftir's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as B68 Toftir's Victor Boniface slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquim do Valle. That made the score 0-3 after 60 minutes of play. Carlinhos Paiva hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Victor Boniface shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to B68 Toftir's Victor Boniface getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 80 played minutes E.C.Pelotas got a freekick which was hit by Douglas de Lima. In the 85th minute Carlinhos Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Trapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in E.C.Pelotas's zone, Scipio Canclini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim do Valle came out of the goal and Scipio Canclini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Trapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over B68 Toftir could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than E.C.Pelotas throughout the match.
