Julen Solera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrão Sarmento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Ion De la Rosa struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Pedrão Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo O IRIXO. Osvaldo Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Parrales having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Gil in the 18th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Pedrão Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion De la Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pedrão Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano Montenegro hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ion De la Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters rose to their feet, but Ion De la Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrão Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Chaves hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vista Alegre FC's Osvaldo Negri got a free kick in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Andrei Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Parrales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Marinho in the 56th minute of the match. Andrei Gil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Pedrão Sarmento made a huge save. When Elano Montenegro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. 66 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julen Solera came free, but Pedrão Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrei Gil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrão Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 81st minute, Julen Solera made a precise shot to the right of Pedrão Sarmento. Vista Alegre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Club Deportivo O IRIXO played a much better game than Vista Alegre FC and deserved their victory. The Vista Alegre FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
