Vitoldas Tindžiulis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaanek Vaher went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FC Egydasas's zone, Erki Lauter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitoldas Tindžiulis came out of the goal and Erki Lauter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaanek Vaher kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jaanek Vaher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaanek Vaher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitoldas Tindžiulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 played minutes, Vila's Erki Lauter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitoldas Tindžiulis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vila reached it. Mart Poom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laimutis Želvys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitoldas Tindžiulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaanek Vaher, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Rolandas Gylys came free, but Mart Poom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Aidas Pečiulis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Egydasas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila the free kick. After 34 played minutes FC Egydasas got a freekick which was hit by Aidas Pečiulis. If Alex Kalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, FC Egydasas's goalkeeper Vitoldas Tindžiulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaanek Vaher. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolandas Gylys made a kick off. When Rolandas Gylys fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Egydasas's protests and gave Rolandas Gylys a yellow card for diving instead. Rolandas Gylys kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, FC Egydasas's goal looked a bit too open when Jaanek Vaher came free, but Vitoldas Tindžiulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes FC Egydasas got a freekick which was hit by Vėjas Lukšas. Vitoldas Tindžiulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaanek Vaher in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Kiur Aluste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitoldas Tindžiulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiur Aluste in the 70th minute of play forced FC Egydasas's goalkeeper Vitoldas Tindžiulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiur Aluste scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitoldas Tindžiulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vila walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
