Modesto Ferdinands short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Manuel Huștea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to CORNUDOS Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Artemio Gora hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Juventus PTM's Virgil Lixandru tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Petre Gheorghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Huștea was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Modesto Ferdinand capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modesto Ferdinand really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Manuel Huștea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Ferdinand in the 39th minute. Petre Gheorghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Crescencio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Modesto Ferdinand to make the kick off. Teo Dolfo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Manuel Huștea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CORNUDOS Fútbol Club. 55 minutes into the game, CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Modesto Ferdinand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Huștea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 58 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Macamete. Manuel Huștea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Aimar in the 61st minute of play. When Iustin Macamete fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus PTM's protests and gave Iustin Macamete a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Macamete. In the 66th minute of the match, Petre Gheorghe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Crescencio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of CORNUDOS Fútbol Club booed when Juventus PTM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Silişteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jorge Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Angelo Crescencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save CORNUDOS Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Jorge Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Angelo Crescencio was a little too slow when Damian Pătrașcu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-1. 85 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Aimar came free, but Manuel Huștea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes, CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Teo Dolfo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Huștea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CORNUDOS Fútbol Club reached it. Modesto Ferdinand scored 3-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Huștea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Jorge Aimar got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juventus PTM's Manuel Huștea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Ferdinand in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Ferdinand in the 96th minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Manuel Huștea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
