The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Mete y Raspa FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Mete y Raspa FC's Martino Otero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. TEMPLE F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Martino Otero took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Adolfo Macario to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the game, Zorion Lamiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mete y Raspa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TEMPLE F.C. the free kick. 20 minutes into the game, Mete y Raspa FC's Zorion Lamiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Macario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Adolfo Macario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martino Otero in the 23rd minute. Mete y Raspa FC's Nuno Guitart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Shantala in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Perez in the 26th minute of play forced Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Nuno Guitart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Martino Otero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Macario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zorion Lamiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Mauro Rubial managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mete y Raspa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Rubial was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes Mete y Raspa FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Mijares. Adolfo Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martino Otero in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Martino Otero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martino Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Macario having to interfere. Adolfo Macario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martino Otero went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Martino Otero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Macario was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, TEMPLE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Martino Otero came free, but Adolfo Macario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Rubial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Macario having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Zorion Lamiar notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of TEMPLE F.C.'s Adolfo Macario. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zorion Lamiar in the 86th minute of play forced TEMPLE F.C.'s goalkeeper Adolfo Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Mijares hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Adolfo Macario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martino Otero's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Emanuel Fonda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Martino Otero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Macario skillfully saved the ball. Adolfo Macario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martino Otero in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mete y Raspa FC fully deserved thier win.
