The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isidro Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Brun in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Amancio Pancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isidro Guillelmus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Tobias Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Brun took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Guillelmus. Isidro Guillelmus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Isidro Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Feo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Guillelmus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21stth minute of the game Danilo Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CANIS LUPUS XTC's Isidro Guillelmus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benigno Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Isidro Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Amancio Pancho sped through CANIS LUPUS XTC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidro Guillelmus. The supporters of Abasto fútbol club booed when CANIS LUPUS XTC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Benigno Feo made a precise shot to the right of Isidro Guillelmus. CANIS LUPUS XTC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Amancio Pancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Isidro Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Benigno Feo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abasto fútbol club's Ernesto Quexal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Abasto fútbol club from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to CANIS LUPUS XTC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Pastor Dominguez hit a great ball. Osvaldo Brun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes Abasto fútbol club got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Ourente. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Neto in the 58th minute of play forced CANIS LUPUS XTC's goalkeeper Isidro Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Gaizko during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Victorino Gaizko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Guillelmus having to interfere. After 69 played minutes CANIS LUPUS XTC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Dominguez. Isidro Guillelmus was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Benigno Feo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benigno Feo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The supporters of CANIS LUPUS XTC booed when Abasto fútbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Bartolome didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Abelardo Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Orlando Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Feo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Guillelmus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Feo ran back to his position shaking his head. The CANIS LUPUS XTC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Abasto fútbol club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
