The Milanis E.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bebeto Britto should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Vandamme in the 13th minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Bebeto Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Natã Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Angelo Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Dark Energy's Mathias-Alexander Vrankx made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Glen Jooris, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute, Róbson Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Natã Salles got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bebeto Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Agostinho Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herve Verheijd in the 35th minute of play. Bebeto Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herve Verheijd in the 37th minute of the match. Bebeto Britto came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Energy's Angelo Vandamme. But to his dismay, Angelo Vandamme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Carlos da Cunha was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Milanis E.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Bouwmans was slow to take the kick. During this time Dark Energy's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Angelo Vandamme took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Bebeto Britto to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th minute, Dark Energy's Yanne Luijten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bebeto Britto. Bebeto Britto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Bebeto Britto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Angelo Vandamme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bebeto Britto, 0-6. Bebeto Britto was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Angelo Vandamme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angelo Vandamme really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. In the 74th minute, Dark Energy's Angelo Vandamme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Yanne Luijten took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Bebeto Britto to make any attempt to save it. In the 82nd minute of the match, Angelo Vandamme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bebeto Britto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 82 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Sanches. Kauã Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Milanis E.C.! When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Dark Energy's Angelo Vandamme got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bebeto Britto. Bebeto Britto made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Mathias-Alexander Vrankx sent off a good shot on target. Dark Energy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
