After a rather tough play, Trabzon's Ali Nabi Öktem got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 4 minutes, Cecilio Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pfullendorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Trabzon booed when SC Pfullendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erlantz Coya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes of play, Trabzon's Ahmet Necdet Veysel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipo Ramirez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ahmet Necdet Veysel put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Felipo Ramirez. SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Necdet Veysel in the 16th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Ahmet Korkut Sadak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trabzon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pfullendorf the free kick. Ahmet Korkut Sadak hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Muhammet Onbulak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, SC Pfullendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gudesteo Santiago to maneuver through the defense. Chinto Buenafuente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Korkut Sadak to maneuver through the defense. The SC Pfullendorf players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trabzon were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Ortiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erlantz Coya kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pfullendorf's zone, Ahmet Necdet Veysel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipo Ramirez came out of the goal and Ahmet Necdet Veysel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tibet Özbilgin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ahmet Necdet Veysel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Felipo Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhammet Onbulak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Trabzon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Necdet Veysel in the 72nd minute of play. In the 80th minute Ahmet Necdet Veysel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipo Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tibet Özbilgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipo Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Veysel, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The SC Pfullendorf supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trabzon's performance. The match ended with a win for Trabzon.
