Tim Crain got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lincoln Downey. After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's Tim Crain got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Stacy Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charly Good didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Sergio Rengifo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Buceo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Rengifo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Di Rado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Rengifo got free with Stacy Daniel in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 33 minutes, Arturo Di Rado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Knights FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Di Rado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Rengifo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stacy Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Rengifo ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Stacy Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Rengifo. In the 45th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Che Fole to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Rengifo in the 54th minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Stacy Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Sergio Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacy Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Sergio Rengifo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stacy Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar got control of the ball when Arturo Di Rado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting Buceo's Charly Good quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tim Crain, made in the 75th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Sergio Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacy Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Rengifo came free, but Stacy Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Black Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Crain to maneuver through the defense. Black Knights FC's Elliot Mercado was substituted for Arturo Di Rado. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Crain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Knights FC's Stacy Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Rengifo in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Tyrone Wolff dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximo Horquizar, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Sergio Rengifo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Rengifo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stacy Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elliot Mercado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Maximo Horquizar made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
