After taking down the ball on Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's corner Eulalio Jago fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edward Slazak quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of FC MARKUS booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Savini didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 20th minute of play forced FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Edward Slazak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Afonso da Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward Slazak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 minutes FC MARKUS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eulalio Jago who took care of the corner kick. 33 minutes into the game, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Afonso da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Slazak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Guillermo Frank came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Frank couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Afonso da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Slazak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Edward Slazak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Eulalio Jago to fire away a dangerous shot which Edward Slazak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Afonso da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edward Slazak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Afonso da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Slazak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Slazak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 55th minute of play. Afonso da Cunha took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Slazak. Edward Slazak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 61st minute Gandalf Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when Gandalf Head came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Slazak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Afonso da Cunha notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC MARKUS's Edward Slazak. Edward Slazak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS made a substitution. Navin Dale replaced Guillermo Frank. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Hartz was substituted for Cumhur Günay. Lucjan Drugi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Slazak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Gendolla in the 75th minute of play. Edward Slazak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 86th minute Teodoro Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Slazak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Zbigniew Gendolla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MARKUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano LOS PIRATAS the free kick. Zbigniew Gendolla hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Edward Slazak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Hartz in the 92nd minute of the match. FC MARKUS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
