Gaizkine Nobo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loid De Keuster went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, ReyPoxo's Gaizkine Nobo got control of the ball when Benjamin Carberry tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bror Litenboks hit a great ball. ReyPoxo's Tales Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tales Lucas struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Waud De Geyter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ReyPoxo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Hegoi in the 26th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, ReyPoxo's Tales Lucas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waud De Geyter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Izydor Czysta got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Lucas in the 54th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waud De Geyter was a little too slow when Albano Hegoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-3. ReyPoxo's Edgar Wijngaart quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rogério Paiva, made in the 60th minute of the game. In the 64th minute of the match, Albano Hegoi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waud De Geyter was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gaizkine Nobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ReyPoxo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
