When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in FC GG's zone, Tomás Turban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selçuk Tekin came out of the goal and Tomás Turban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, FC GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Müfit Nefer to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Amedeo Mameli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético de Blumenau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Selçuk Tekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Mameli in the 84th minute of play.
