Aldo Di Biagio made a great header on AC Morena's corner, it was just that National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson managed to reach the ball for a save. AC Morena's Jairo Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zair Hasa in the 11th minute of play. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save National Team Cape-Verde from getting a goal against them. In the 14th match minute, National Team Cape-Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Skarkman to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Gana in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pål Sefastsson saved National Team Cape-Verde from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Gana. Zair Hasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Refugio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gana in the 28th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Sefastsson was a little too slow when Aquiles Gana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Gana in the 36th minute of the match. Ercole Carosella kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. AC Morena's Jairo Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Rang in the 38th minute of play. Pål Sefastsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aquiles Gana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Gana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Sefastsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Alex Broberg replaced Viggo Rang. National Team Cape-Verde's Zachary Pliszka was substituted for Zair Hasa. AC Morena's Cristoforo Labate was substituted for Aldo Di Biagio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Gana in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pål Sefastsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Alex Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, AC Morena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Carosella to maneuver through the defense. Fredric Melander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jairo Asteguieta made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Gana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Sefastsson was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Aquiles Gana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Sefastsson having to make a save. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Morena.
