C.F Intercity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave National Team Cape-Verde the free kick. Song Xiao Li hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, C.F Intercity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fridtjof Dramstad to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, C.F Intercity's Jeremie Van Nel got control of the ball when Zair Hasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremie Van Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zair Hasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Fredric Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. National Team Cape-Verde were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after C.F Intercity's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredric Melander took the corner. The corner led National Team Cape-Verde's Oswald Winnepennincx to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeremie Van Nel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivar Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şimşek Miran in the 34th minute of play. Zair Hasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremie Van Nel having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zair Hasa got free with Jeremie Van Nel in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Zair Hasa made a precise shot to the right of Jeremie Van Nel. C.F Intercity's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivar Ribeiro in the 45th minute of play. Nae Alexandroae kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olivar Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, C.F Intercity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Alexandroae to maneuver through the defense. In the 51st match minute, National Team Cape-Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Vibjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match, Olivar Ribeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pål Sefastsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th minute of the match, Şimşek Miran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pål Sefastsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. National Team Cape-Verde's Zachary Pliszka was substituted for Zair Hasa. In the 62nd minute Olivar Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivar Ribeiro in the 76th minute of play. If Zachary Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. C.F Intercity's Giro Campomanes was substituted for Olivar Ribeiro. National Team Cape-Verde's Alex Broberg was substituted for Fredric Melander. In the 80th match minute, C.F Intercity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Alexandroae to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to C.F Intercity getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tomi Candela hit a great ball. Jeremie Van Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şahap Özgu in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Pliszka in the 85th minute of play forced C.F Intercity's goalkeeper Jeremie Van Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremie Van Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Broberg in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, National Team Cape-Verde's Tage Finman got a free kick in the 94th minute. Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giro Campomanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
