After having played for 2 minutes, Brent Nelleboedske managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Brugge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Nelleboedske was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stein Spoelberch came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Björnlunda IF's Malte Danielsson. But to his dismay, Malte Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Jan-Simon Elsen came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Club Brugge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Simon Elsen couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Hector Bellerin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Björnlunda IF's Christer Trillkott quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 11th minute Henri Erle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeroen Weygaers took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Ivarsson. Peter Ivarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Peter Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Nelleboedske in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Henri Erle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Ivarsson. Björnlunda IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henri Erle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 31stth minute of the game Jeroen Weygaers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björnlunda IF's Peter Ivarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Henri Erle sped through Björnlunda IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peter Ivarsson. Peter Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Nelleboedske in the 42nd minute of the match. Jan-Simon Elsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.
Club Brugge made a substitution. King Eken replaced Jan-Simon Elsen. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and King Eken made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, King Eken reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peter Ivarsson. The goal made the score 2-4. After 59 minutes of play, Björnlunda IF's Sven-Edvin Blixt made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stein Spoelberch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeroen Weygaers in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieter Van Landewijck got free with Peter Ivarsson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Jeroen Weygaers notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Björnlunda IF's Peter Ivarsson. Peter Ivarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeroen Weygaers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Ivarsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeroen Weygaers slotted it home off the left post making it 3-6 in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute Sven-Edvin Blixt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Cyryl Lipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sven-Edvin Blixt came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Björnlunda IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Edvin Blixt couldn't finish the play. Björnlunda IF's Peter Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Nelleboedske in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Blixt came free, but Stein Spoelberch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Nelleboedske in the 87th minute of the match. King Eken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Ivarsson having to interfere. Peter Ivarsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brent Nelleboedske showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-7 in the 93 minute of play.
