In the 8th minute Jeroen Weygaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Ovidio Raymundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Raymundo in the 15th minute of play. When Ovidio Raymundo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the XV de Indaial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Raymundo couldn't finish the play. Stein Spoelberch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Raymundo in the 29th minute of the match. When XV de Indaial's Ovidio Raymundo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Brugge's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute of the match XV de Indaial got a corner. Club Brugge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osvaldinho de Sena ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Clemente Pinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch did a great save. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Stein Spoelberch successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, XV de Indaial's Ovidio Raymundo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ovidio Raymundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stein Spoelberch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Raymundo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Raymundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Stein Spoelberch made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ovidio Raymundo made a kick off. Ovidio Raymundo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stein Spoelberch having to make a save. Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Raymundo in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henri Erle got free with Osmar Antunes in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osmar Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Nelleboedske in the 57th minute of the match. Tony Soprano hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Raymundo in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Ovidio Raymundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XV de Indaial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Raymundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Ovidio Raymundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Opdebeeck got free with Osmar Antunes in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Raymundo in the 82nd minute of play. Ovidio Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Stein Spoelberch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Tony Soprano in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by XV de Indaial's Clemente Pinho. After 90 played minutes XV de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by Josué Galvão. Osmar Antunes was a little too slow when Abraham Opdebeeck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 96th minute Ovidio Raymundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. XV de Indaial's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
