The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Niemojewski got free with Theofilos Venetis in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Batu Cem Dilazad with Pipis Iaveris as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
