Newpi Academy's Vlado Delchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Loi in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Aerolineas Argentinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Cordareo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Vlado Delchev made a huge save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Vlado Delchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilmer Barrios. Newpi Academy's Vlado Delchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Newpi Academy from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the game, Wilmer Barrios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vlado Delchev. Wilmer Barrios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Tonete made a kick off. Marcos Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute.
