Nando Toscano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 18th minute, Amílcar Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Nando Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Duarte in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Golo Duarte could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Nando Toscano however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Brás got free with Nando Toscano in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nando Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Duarte came free, but Nando Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulo Duarte in the 34th minute. Ramiro Messias scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estevon Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Escuadrón Mercenario were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Escuadrón Mercenario got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Messias. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Golo Duarte put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nando Toscano. Nando Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nando Toscano came out of the goal and Paulo Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ramiro Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
