With an all-out effort, ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Santo Lano threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Sergipano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Haisenberg Dolar sped through ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgard Pernambucano. 20 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Rocha came free, but Santo Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Sidnei Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidnei Rocha in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Lano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei Rocha got free with Santo Lano in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34thth minute of the game Haisenberg Dolar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Edgard Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sidnei Rocha scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santo Lano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Clube Audax Metropolitano were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edgard Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haisenberg Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute Sidnei Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sidnei Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Rocha in the 60th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match, Bjørn Ironside got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgard Pernambucano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Wilian de Senna was substituted for Edmundo Britto. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Eriberto Netto was substituted for Haisenberg Dolar. After a rather tough play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Claudinho Quadros got a free kick in the 88th minute. Santo Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Edgard Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
