Godfredo Obano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute João Francisco Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Obano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Obano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matias Santikurtz might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfredo Obano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Santikurtz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Matias Santikurtz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Obano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

Matias Santikurtz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Godfredo Obano made a huge save. The corner ended in Daniel Moura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ALEXANDRIA's Godfredo Obano did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Uxio in the 70th minute of play forced FCSB CUENCA's goalkeeper 史默晨 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mergildo Fuente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Obano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beltran De Paula got free with Godfredo Obano in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 史默晨 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Haritzeder's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When Marcio Carreira came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FCSB CUENCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcio Carreira couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Carreira in the 90th minute of the match. Feliciano Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Zhu Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCSB CUENCA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhu Feng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Obano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FCSB CUENCA played a much better game than ALEXANDRIA and deserved their victory. The ALEXANDRIA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
