Takis Koutsos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Nestares, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Libra's Valdemar Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Simões in the 23rd minute of play. Takis Koutsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigge Fürst in the 25th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doru Lițu was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in The Beatles's zone, Armin Nestares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takis Koutsos came out of the goal and Armin Nestares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Beatles's José Paulo Pimenta was substituted for Elder Santos. Libra's Casper Viklund was substituted for Armin Nestares. After 94 played minutes The Beatles got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Simões. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Beatles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Libra had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
