Grêmio Imortal's Adrianinho de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Imortal from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Sebastian Larsson got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Toninho Peixoto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radowit Trzaskoma skillfully saved the ball. FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrianinho de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Larsson in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Sebastian Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrianinho de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho de Medeiros having to interfere. With a little luck, Grêmio Imortal's Adrianinho de Medeiros got control of the ball when Mathias Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Mathias Jonasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adrianinho de Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benoit Van Bettenrode received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrianinho de Medeiros came out and tried to block the shot, but Benoit Van Bettenrode slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Adrianinho de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 30th minute of the match. Witomir Domamir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Adrianinho de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Adrianinho de Medeiros made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Mathias Jonasson could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Adrianinho de Medeiros however easily saved by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldinho Maranhense to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mathias Jonasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FA Sandtown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 59th minute, Mathias Jonasson made a precise shot to the right of Adrianinho de Medeiros. Grêmio Imortal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Kajetan Pusiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FA Sandtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kajetan Pusiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 minutes of play, FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrianinho de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Grêmio Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knútur Kaaaas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrianinho de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Larsson in the 80th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Benoit Van Bettenrode who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Imortal's Adrianinho de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrianinho de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 84th minute of the match. Grêmio Imortal's Adrianinho de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Jonasson in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Jonasson in the 88th minute of play forced Grêmio Imortal's goalkeeper Adrianinho de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grêmio Imortal's Adrianinho de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Jonasson in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Sebastian Larsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho de Medeiros. Grêmio Imortal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Larsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There was no doubt that FA Sandtown were the better team. FA Sandtown's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
