After 8 minutes of play, Palloketut's Toni Fabich made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Sharp was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute of the match, Toni Fabich tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hubert Sharp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hubert Sharp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toni Fabich's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Tommi Kangasmäki hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Voitto Nyrhinen in the 20th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Hubert Sharp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Fabich came free, but Hubert Sharp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Richmond's Hubert Sharp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Fabich in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Palloketut got a corner. AFC Richmond's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommi Kangasmäki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hubert Sharp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Fabich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krystian Żmuda was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toni Fabich in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hubert Sharp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hubert Sharp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Fabich, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Voitto Nyrhinen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Sharp. AFC Richmond's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Voitto Nyrhinen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hubert Sharp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Voitto Nyrhinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Mitchell Baker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Richmond's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palloketut the free kick. In the 75th minute, Mitchell Baker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitchell Baker to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Sharp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Fabich, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Toni Fabich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Sharp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Richmond's zone, Rikhard Elomo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Sharp came out of the goal and Rikhard Elomo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Dorian Bray got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heino Helkamo in the 84th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Hubert Sharp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Fabich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Sharp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Palloketut were the better team. Palloketut's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
