After some careless play in the Pajala Sunrise defense, Cléber Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Hök. The Pajala Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Hök should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. David Lindman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Fernkvist in the 21st minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Ian Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Cléber Marquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Hök was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ian Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Fernkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niaz Njoom didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC BARCELONA's Yetkiner Refah shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daniel Hök but with some difficulty. 42 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when David Lindman came free, but Ian Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Daniel Hök didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BARCELONA. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Kent Odén got a free kick in the 46th minute. Yetkiner Refah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 59 played minutes FC BARCELONA got a freekick which was hit by Ian Paraense. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's David Lindman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Lindman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Marquez in the 64th minute of play forced Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Daniel Hök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Hök took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
